I got this plant and...Yes the plant is that colour. I got this plant and a 'Shoji Raijin' from Derek Bowdery but found the heads on the 'Shoji Raijin' ended up too small. I often remove offsets from Agaves to keep them to one head. Derek has lots of room and a lot of Agaves. Is the photo...That's a really beautiful agave. Is the photo color true to the real plant? Is it really that blue? Nice. I have Agave potatorum 'Shoji Raijin' which is very similar in shape but not nearly as blue and it produces a large number of offsets which I think distracts from the overall appearance of the plant.
