That's a very nice looking plant Alain. I really like the genus Schwantesia, the leaves are nicely colored, at least in good light, and very sculptured. S. herrei reminds me of Lapidaria with wonderfully shaped leaves. I've never grown S. herrei, but have grown S. borcherdsii in the past. Unfortunately it was one of the many casualties to the tornado that hit our house in 2002. Yes, the flowers are nice, but I would prefer they didn't block the view of the wonderful leaves. :-)
I could not resist taking some photos of the flower as there are not that many flowers about in December. It is a plant to enjoy all year due to sculptured leaves.
