NANANTHUS TRANSVAALENSIS

2 comments:

  1. Pretty flower. I like the reddish brown stripe in the petals. I have heard the flowers have a slight fragrance, but I've never noticed it. Apparently, it is quite the task to identify the various listed species. Even Steven Hammer writes "it is difficult to find characters that are fairly constant in either leaves or flowers." Do you have species other than transvaalensis?

    1. I did not notice any fragrance. I think transvaalensis is now included under aloides but it also looks like broomii. I have some seedlings from 2013 and some seed.
