LITHOPS KARASMONTANA [ ? ] IN NEED OF TENDER LOVING CARE

THIS PLANT WAS WON IN A RAFFLE AND PROBABLY NEEDS ANOTHER SEASON TO BE LESS ELONGATED BUT HERE IS THE PROGRESS SO FAR.

  1. That's a nice rejuvenation job Alain. Great looking plant now. It's always rewarding (to both you and the plant) to bring a plant back to good health. I would agree on the ID as L. karasmontana probably subsp. eberlanzii.

    1. With new heads each year results can be quicker with Lithops but still rewarding. With some plants that have problems surgery is needed. We had a branch member who used to take all the plants in poor condition left after a sale etc. but I never saw his greenhouse.

  2. What do you think about L. bromfeldii var. menellii, these have yellow flowers.
