POTTING UP

These are the plants from my 'Trip to the Seaside'

I like to pot up all new plants I buy. This gives a chance to look at the roots and get the plants into my normal compost. I also write new labels using pencil as I find this is not subject to label fade.

TURBINICARPUS VALDEZIANUS

Usually this is the first cactus in the year to flower for me but this year it was beaten  

by the seedling Mammillaria schiedeana griselae [ See 13th April 2018 ]  but it still deserves some photos.
