Wonderful color and form on the flower. How stinky is it? My Stapelia gigantean had four flowers open today and you could smell it 10 meters away; well, if the wind was blowing from that direction. What temperature do you keep your asclepiads at in the winter? I would think they wouldn't enjoy being too cold. Do you have your greenhouse divided into zone with different winter temperature settings?
The smell is not too bad but it does attract flies. I do not divide the greenhouse into sections but try to put the Asclepiads in the warmest place which is in line with the fan heater. Some I put in an unheated propagator also.I have now got a propagator mat which I may use this winter.
