LAPIDARIA MARGARETAE

FLOWERS AT ALL STAGES.

  1. Wonderful little plants. I think Lapidaria look more gem-like than another other mesemb. The color combined with the sharp angular leaves are just perfect. I like the flowers but often the flower mars the surface of the leaves. But I admit your pot of Lapidarias looks great with the flowers. So bright yellow and cheery. Hope you are having nice winter weather. We are very cold here in the eastern US. Our temperatures are routinely 15 to 30 degrees F. below average. I haven't had a chance to open my over-winter frames in three weeks. My plants must think I've abandoned them. :)

    1. I was interested that the flowers opened in turn. The leaves are sculptural. There have been a few snow flurries and some frost but nothing too severe. Your weather sounds awful.
