It is always a pleasure to receive the MSG bulletin but I like the February and August issues in particular. The February issue contains the excellent seed list and in August details of the plant exchange. Here are some pictures of the 2013 exchange and a link to the site for more details of the group [
http://www.mesemb.org/ but please only use the main contact email for the group not that for the exchange scheme as this is no longer valid ] . You must be in the group to take part but do not need plants to exchange.
If you are not in the E.U. please check import restrictions.

beautiful plants!
ReplyDeleteIt is a good way to get some nice plants often raised from MSG seed and clear a little space by passing on some seedlings. I accept I cannot keep all the Lithops plants raised even if they are all a bit different.
DeleteIt really is great fun, and excitement, to roll those new plants out of their wrappings. You have some great new plants. Lithops aucampiae is one of my favorite lithops species. Some of them can really get big. Although I have a three headed plant of L. aucampiae subsp. euniceae var. fluminalis that looks healthy but is quite small. You just never know how a particular plant is going to look or behave - that's part of the fun of growing them. Good luck with all of your new plant additions.
ReplyDeleteI do still like to get a parcel of plants in the post.
