Beautiful!I love these tiny plants! :)
Thank you. Lithops have always been my favourites.
Hi Alain,Very nice plants. What's your growing conditions? Greenhouse? Window? etc. My lithops go outside under cover from mid May until mid October, and then spend winter in the house in a south facing window.
Hi BobIn a greenhouse all year. Heated in winter although damp and low light is probably the biggest problem for Mesembs.
Beautiful Lithops Alain. Can you share your Lithops potting mix recipe? :)
HiI use the following mix:-3 parts John Innes 31 part horticultural sand1 part gravel.I am not sure if John Innes is available in Australia. It is a loam based potting mix. As good [or bad] as the loam in it.I use aquarium gravel as I also use it round the plants and I think it looks best. The gravel keeps the body of the plant away from damp soil and I think looks nice.Do not change what works for you.Alain
